Lagos
Lawyer, Festus Keyamo has shared his thoughts on the speedy response the
Federal Government gave to the former Governor of Bayelsa, when he lost his son
last weekend in Dubai while they paid no attention to the call of Mrs Falode,
who urged the Government to please intervene in the killing of her only son,
who was pushed to his death from a high-rise apartment in Dubai.
When
you really look at both situations, you find out that the Dubai police gave
false reports both times. Aisha Falode’s son was said to have been involved in
a car crash meanwhile he was pushed from a story building. Alamieyeseigha’s son
was also reported to have committed suicide meanwhile his father insists he was
killed. Are our Nigerian students not safe in Dubai anymore????
Read
what Festus Keyamo said on this matter below:
“Up
till this minute, the Federal Government has not issued a single statement
calling on the U.A.E authorities to fish out the killers of Toba Falode. The
Federal Government has played the ostrich in the case of Toba, leaving the
mother and family grieving alone. The question is, with the swift response in
the case of Oyamuyefa Alamieyeseigha, does the Federal Government value the
lives of some of its citizens more than others?”.
He however
urged the Government to still look into the killing of Toba Falode, a young
Nigerian schooling in Dubai who was murdered on February 15th in
the countryOyamuyefa Alamieyeseigha
