Outgoing President of the federal republic of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, may have earned a name for himself by accepting defeat in the just concluded Presidential elections in the country, but some set of individuals might not out really be happy with the way he has ran his administration.
Why
some would want to highlight a large number of things the President was slow or
rather careless about, some would chose to talk about the insurgency in the
country and the kidnapped Chibok girls.
But
the Yobe State Secretary of All Progressives Congress (APC) Alhaji Abubakar
Bakabe, has recently noted that the North-east would never forgive President
Goodluck Jonathan for funding the make-belief industry with same amount he gave
the zone to revive its economy.
Revealing
this to newsmen in Damaturu, Bakabe accused the President of allocating N2
billion to the area for reconstruction after giving N130 billion to Niger Delta
and N2 billion to Nollywood, Nigeria’s film industry.
“People
of this area will not forgive President Jonathan for equating the whole zone
with a film industry. We have been neglected,” he added.
