Former England International footballer and super model, David Beckham is seriously living the big life even after hanging his boots as a professional soccer player. As a matter of Fact, he now earns more than he actualy did while playing the round leather game.
According to recent report by Forbes, deals with top brands like Adidas, Haig Club whisky and H&M enabled David Beckham to become one of the highest-earning retired athletes in 2014. The 39 year old soccer hero who retired from football in 2013 smiled to the bank with £50.8 million in earnings since last year making him the second highest earning non athlete next to Michael Jordan. Forbes said, “Beckham was the top-paid player in soccer, including endorsements, for most of the last dozen years of his career.But in his first full year of retirement, he posted the highest earnings of his career with $75 million in 2014. His previous high was $51 [£34.3 million] in 2012.”
Beckham has been married for about 16 years now to former singer and model, Victoria Beckham with whom he has four children including 16-year old Brooklyn, 12-year old Romeo, 10-year old Cruz, and 3-year old Harper .
