Former governor of Lagos State and national leader of the All Progressive Congress party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed his dissatisfaction and sadness at the heartless killings of innocent students carried out by the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents.
He decried the heightened insecurity in the country, while expressing sympathy for the families of the students who were killed in the Yobe State bomb blast two days ago.
“The bombing of the students in Yobe concentrates the mind. My heart goes to their families. This madness must stop. Nigeria is bleeding!” he said.
At least more than 47 people, most of them students, were killed in the bomb blast which went off in a secondary school in Nigeria’s northeastern town of Potiskum on Monday as the students gathered for assembly before classes.
More recently,on Wednesday, the Federal College of Education, Kotangora was hit by a female suicide bomber leaving about four people dead including the bomber.
