Yobe State shuts down Schools after Monday’s Bomb Blast

 

The Yobe state commissioner of education has announced the closure of  all schools in the state including private and public schools,  the decision to shut down the schools was as a result of the bomb explosion that happened at Government Science Secondary School, Potiskum.

The announcement was made this morning and according to the commissioner, it is a move by the government to ensure that more security measures are put in place to guarantee the safety of students , teachers and the school environment across the state.

It will be recalled that the Monday suicide bombing had 48 students losing their lives with 79 others injured.
