which way Nigeria
Once
upon a time, there was a country called Nigeria, a country of faithful, loyal
and honest People. A country where the Leaders, Upheld her unity, a country
where the Leaders then, served Nigeria and Nigerians with all their strength. A
country that hated evil and love righteous. A country owned by God and blessed
with 58 mineral resources and 300 solid mineral resources.
My Uncle used to travel to UK in early 70s. according to him, there was a particular white man who used to come to his hotel room, helped him to clean his Shoes, washed his boxers and also went on errands for my Uncle. Whatever he wanted to buy, this white man would go and get it for him. My Uncle had travelled to UK on more than 8 occasions and stayed in this particular hotel pending when he would leave UK.
No matter how many times in a day, my Uncle called this white man, he was always eager to attend to my Uncle's needs. After so many years, my Uncle traveled to UK again, this time, in late 90s, and went to the same hotel, "to his surprised, the same white man was still working in the hotel., although, somehow old, to my Uncle's surprise, the same man who would help carry his Bags to his room in early 70s, pretended not to see my Uncle, or, let me say, he completely ignored him. My Uncle said, he managed to pass by his side to his room, and was in that hotel for 5days, but this white man never noticed him, my Uncle said, he wasn't comfortable at all at the way he was neglected.
My Uncle said, he summoned courage and confronted him, asked him reasons he neglected him all these while. The white man said, "BEFORE BEFORE... YOUR MONEY WAS STRONG, "BUT NOW, YOUR MONEY IS USELESS.
Once upon a time in my country called Nigeria, every weekend, there was no house you passed that you won't see Geisha and Sardine tin, outside the streets, Milo and Bournvita, tin, Peak milk tin, everywhere, Nigerians were living comfortably then, i could remember, my mum would use a knife to cuts and share bread for us in those days.
Once upon a time, Our Leaders were leading us, not dividing us. Our musicians were messengers not entertainers. Their dancers are worthy of emulating not all these whores seducing people and corrupting people's mind, all in the name of entertainment.
Once upon a time, our naira was so strong, in 1993; I bought 3yards of native cloth called (GINI) #45. My Dad bought a plot of land, #5k. His commercial Molue was #11k in early 70s, he owned 4. Once upon a time, Nigeria Budgets was 1.5million and the country never collapsed. Once upon a time, we were one Nigeria but today we are either Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo or Fulani.
Once upon a time in a country called Nigeria, you can't go to the house of God, with girl friend, but today, workers were caught having sex in the house of God. In those days, there was no Pastors but Bishops, Revered, Provosts, Apostles and Evangelists, but today....... Oh! Big Big titles in the house of God. Titles that God did not give us, that we are giving ourselves.
Ooh!!! 2,Chronicles,7v14 says, If my people who are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then, will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Our Prayer would have changed our situations but our prayers are never answered, our prayers are in vain, because we pray from a Polluted, Unholy, and Sinful heart.
This Post is to challenges all the followers of bad rulers and to awaken the true children of God in the land to sanctify themselves, seek God and Pray for a Good Leader after God's heart to leads us right.
