John Terry celebrates 500th game as captain of Chelsea


 

Chelsea FC legend, John Terry yesterday celebrated his 500th game as captain of The Blues.
The former England international marked the landmark against Crystal Palace at Selhurst park yesterday, October 18, 2014, in a game Chelsea won 2 – 1 

After the final whistle, Terry, who is also a former captain of England, walked towards Chelsea fans who travelled to the home ground of Crystal Palace to applaud them after he had changed into a yellow shirt with the words: ‘500 Thank You’ written on it.

John Terry joined Chelsea’s  youth club in 1995 and made his senior team debut three years later, in 1998.
