According to reports, the endorsement deal Peter Okoye of
Psquare landed alone is said to be worth several millions of dollars. The
signing of the contract between Peter and the company had taken place weeks
before he was officially announced. With a show-stopping performance, the
popular music star and dancer was unveiled at the event held at Civic Centre,
Victoria Island, Lagos recently. The event saw the introduction of two new
variants of the brand – Olympic Powdered Milk and ready-to-drink Olympic Apple
Flavoured bottled drink products. The new, highly rich and nutritious Olympic
Powdered Milk comes in 16g single serve sachet and 300g family pack, while the
grab-and-go Olympic Apple Flavoured food drink is available in 500ml bottle.
Peter who was dressed in black suit with a black
hat electrified the occasion with a dramatic entry into the hall with a
suitcase which contained the ‘best kept secret.’
The music star revealed the new Olympic milk
variants which are ‘best kept secret’ through theatrical performance which
wowed the audience. He performed for more than 30 minutes after unveiling
the new Olympic powdered milk and Apple flavoured drink. There was ample time for
him to display his unique dance steps on stage. He also endorsed the
Olympic brand in a brief promotional video shown at the event.
Speaking on his deal as the new
face of Olympic milk, Peter explained that he felt honoured being the
ambassador of the Olympic Milk. “Among thousands or perhaps millions of people
in the entertainment industry, I feel honoured to be chosen as the brand
ambassador.“I am ready to push the brand to the next level because it’s really
worth it. It means a lot not just to me but also to my fans. If a brand isn’t
worth it I have nothing to do with such brand. The fact that I am ready to work
with this brand is an indication of its top quality.
“I am not going to sit down and
relax. I am set to come up with creative ideas the same way I handle that of
P-Square, I will put in 100 and one per cent,” Peter said.
