Former Chocolate
City artist Brymo is gearing up to release his 4th studio album,
titled ‘Tabula Rasa.’
His first album ‘Brymstone’
sold 500 copies in his neighborhood, before he was signed on to Chocolate
city and released ‘Son Of A Kapenta in 2012, and ‘Merchants,
Dealers & Slaves’ (M, D&S) in 2013.
This is Brymo’s
first album after his recent legal battle and subsequent exit from Chocolate
City.
In a recent interview, Brymo
revealed why he named the album Tabula Rasa: ‘I
was still thinking about the title when one day in the courtroom the judge used
it in a speech. I immediately decided I would use it. It refers to a theory
that we were born without built-in mental content as a child. The album was
inspired by the expectation of such good news. The album features Sammy Sage
Hassan, and will be released soon’
