Messi Hits 400 Career Goals

Lionel Messi scored his 400th and 401st career goals, as Barcelona thrashed Granada 6-0 to return to the top of La Liga on Saturday.

Playing in his new 10 role, the Argentina captain set up goals for his team-mates, before helping himself to a brace in the second half.

Messi is someone who has been touched by a magic wand and he is desperate to enjoy playing football, said Barca boss Luis Enrique.

Champions Atletico Madrid are now in second, two points behind Barca, after they defeated Sevilla 4-0 at home.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 10th league goal of the campaign, as Real Madrid won 2-0 away to Villareal to remain four points off the top in fourth place.
