Joke Silva, one of Nollywood’s
veteran Actresses has expressed her joy after being listed among those to be
conferred with the 2013/2014 edition of the National Honours Award.
In a message to Nigerian
Entertainment Today, Joke said she has since been getting congratulatory
messages from various people.
“I feel highly honoured by the MFR. It’s
been lovely getting the congratulatory messages even from the people I haven’t
seen or heard from in a while,” she said.
Joke Silva will be awarded
alongside renowned Nollywood star, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and pioneer movie
producer, Kenneth Nnebue.
The event will hold on
Monday, September 29, 2014 at the International Conference Centre, Abuja
