Super Eagles/Chelsea player,
Mikel Obi is in the news again and this time it’s
not about his profession but about his Russian lady love, Olga Diyachenko.
After reports claiming the two were engaged went viral yesterday, buttressing
the fact that he was very unavailable, Nigerian ladies took to social media to
slam the star player’s girlfriend.
Mikel Obi, who is a perfect
gentleman is having none of it and has cleared the air on the rumoured
engagement.
Speaking with sports
journalist, Colins Udoh, Mikel pleaded with Nigerian ladies
to go easy on his woman and dismissed reports that he has proposed to
Olga Mikel said:
“Yes, she is my girlfriend, but I have not proposed to
her. If that happens, it will not be hidden and everyone will know. I’m
begging Nigerian girls to please leave her alone. Some Nigerian girls have
already been attacking her (on social media) since this fake story came out.”
