The Spice Girls
star-turned-fashion designer, Victoria Beckham already has four
children with husband, David and has insisted that raising her
children and working on her successful business occupy her focus in the
immediate future.
For her, that means she has
too much ‘going on’ to think about
expanding her family further beyond 15-year old Brooklyn, 12-year
old Romeo, 9-year old Cruz and 3-year old Harper.
Asked what is next for her,
Posh Spice said: ‘Well the next thing
someone would normally ask is am I pregnant? I seem to be asked that regularly,
but no, I’m not having another baby –
there’s enough going on.’
In the immediate future, the
40-year old mother said she is preparing to open her first standalone
store in London later this month and hopes the 7,000 square feet shop in the
exclusive Mayfair district of the city – will make shoppers
feel ‘welcome’.
She added to Britain’s
Grazia magazine: ‘It’s a very special
space. I’ve dreamt of having a store for a long time. It is
conceptual – I want people to come in and feel welcome and
comfortable.’
And the ‘Stop’
hitmaker even jokingly claimed she plans to draft her family in to help out in
the retail space.
She said: ‘I
love retail – I’ll be taking
appointments with people, maybe go behind the till…
‘Who knows maybe David will be on the door and Brooklyn
will be a Saturday boy. Can you imagine?!’
