Dead — Former WCW & WWE Wrester Dies At 43
Sean spent six years
competing in World Wrestling Entertainment and World Championship Wrestling.
Interestingly, Sean was the
first major WWE star to crossover into MMA — he made the jump in
September 2004. Along with competing in MMA, Sean also dabbled in the
world of professional kickboxing. Later, he became a hair stylist.
The WWE released a statement,
following Sean’s tragic death.
“WWE extends its condolences to Sean Christopher Haire’s
family, friends and fans on his passing. Haire performed under the name ‘Sean
O’Haire,’ and was under
contract with WWE from 2001-2004,” the organization
told HollywoodLife.com.
Unfortunately, Sean’s
final years in life were plagued by several arrests and legal issues.

Arrests & Legal Issues Before Death
In 2006, Sean was arrested
for allegedly assaulting a woman at Club Hypnotic in June 2004. However,
he was later found not guilty after the woman confessed the
allegations were not true.
He was also reportedly
involved in a fight in Hilton Head on March 30, 2007, in which he sustained
fractures to his face and skull. As a result of the fight, the vision in
his left eye was impaired.
On September 9, 2009,
Sean was reportedly arrested in Georgia for allegedly choking his
girlfriend. He was charged with battery and criminal trespassing before being
released on bail. The charges were later dropped and Sean was found not
guilty.
On November 23, 2011, Sean
was arrested in Georgia and charged with battery.
Sean had a son named Theodore
and owned his own barbershop in Hilton Head, South Carolina. He was not married
at the time of his death.
Former WWE and WCW wrestler
Billy Kidman sent out a tweet on Wednesday, Sept. 10, honoring Sean.
Our thoughts go out to Sean’s
family and friends during this difficult time.
A “Celebration
of Life” visitation will be held on Sept. 13 in
Spartanburg, South Carolina, according to an obituary at Tributes.com.
